The “big river” in the valley that empties into the Sea of Cortez. Our section is nestled in the deep gorge of beautiful Glenwood Canyon, and comes to life in early July.
Turbulent Triple Shoshone Rapids: For action lovers, this trip is a blast. Test the Class III rapids not once, not twice, but three times. We will run the fast Shoshone Rapids multiple times by taking the boats out of the water after the first turn and then transferring the boats and the guests the 3 miles back in our vehicles. During lower water, this definitely makes the trip more exciting. Pick up at 10:30 am with a return by 3:30 PM. Lunch is included. Cost: $143.00 per person. Please indicate if you prefer a vegetarian lunch on the reservation form.
Minimum 16 maximum / maximum 40.
Classic Shoshone Rapids section: Our most popular trip has withstood the test of time and boasts excellent Class III whitewater, followed by a stunning and scenic relaxing float within steep majestic canyon walls. These rapids, with names like “Superstition”, “The Wall”, and “Pinball”, create an exhilarating section of unforgettable white water. The first section has Class III rapids and then declines to Class II & I as we focus on the beautiful scenery in the canyon. Pick up at 10:30 am with a return by 4:30 PM. Lunch is included. Cost: $143.00 per person. Please indicate if you prefer a vegetarian lunch on the reservation form.
Minimum 16. No maximum.
What Should I Wear?
We recommend that you wear a bathing suit as your base layer. We will provide rafting jackets, pants and a wet suit, if necessary. We have neoprene booties available or you can wear shoes that will stay on your feet and can get wet (flip flops are not appropriate). Bring dry clothes for the ride home.
What Should I Bring?
We suggest the disposable, waterproof type cameras. Pictures will be taken from the shore and will be available for purchase.
